Virtual Machine Requirements

Cyberm8 Automation Platform is deployed as a virtual appliance.

The Required Virtual Machine Resources are:
100 GB Hard-drive
16 GB RAM
8 vCPU

Once you successfully deploy the virtual appliance, enter the virtual machine console and login using the default command-line credentials:

Setting Up The Network Configuration

By default, Cyberm8 Automation Platform will receive an IPv4 address from a DHCP server (if available). (You can view the current IP address using the ‘ifconfig’ command in command-line).

To set a new IP address enter the ‘Network Manager’ utility by typing: ‘csh net-config’. Use the ‘Network Manager’ to set IP Address, DNS, Static Routes (if required based on your network topology) and Hostname.

To apply the new network settings either ‘Deactivate’ and ‘Activate’ the connection in the ‘Network Manager’ utility (if connected via the VM Console), or by typing ‘csh network-restart’ in the command line.
